What is the ITA?
The ITA (Information Technology Alliance) is a not-for-profit membership based association of leading firms and companies engaged in the development, delivery, and/or support of technology solutions for small and mid-sized businesses. The ITA’s purpose is to share information and best practices, and to build relationships that will ultimately improve the quality of your information systems projects. Simply stated, an ITA-affiliated Information Systems Professional can help your business become more successful than a non-ITA provider.
Who belongs to the ITA?
The ITA membership roster consists of the most highly regarded mid-market technology professionals and product/service providers in the industry. In order to join, your Information Systems Professional must have met these requirements:
- Have a good-standing relationship with a significant IT vendor (such as Sage Software, Microsoft, Open Systems, Blackbaud, SAP America, NetSuite, Intacct Corporation, Adaptive Planning, CCH Tax & Accounting, Avalara, AccuFund, and Periscope Holdings).
- Be sponsored by an existing ITA member or member of the ITA staff or Board.
- Achieved professional recognition for IT consulting performance.
- Demonstrated a history or track record in delivering quality IT consulting services.
- Employ professionals who have demonstrated a willingness to serve in volunteer capacities to further the IT profession.
- Endorsed, in writing, the ITA Code of Professional Conduct.
