This week, some members of our team will be attending the Sage Insights annual partner conference in Nashville. It is one of the most important learning events for us, and we have been participating for over ten years. We will attend educational sessions, executive keynotes, and the large exhibit hall. We’ll soak up as much content as we can to enhance our in-depth knowledge of the Sage products that you rely on us to implement and support. We’ll hear about the innovations and trends that will shape the future of the Sage solutions you use in your organization, now and in the future. And we’ll be able to provide feedback to key Sage contacts on what you have been telling us about your experience using Sage solutions.

AR Collections Manager

Beginning with version 5.5, when you upgrade or purchase your Sage Accpac ERP system you receive the Extended Enterprise Suite. Importantly, this suite includes SageCRM along with an AR Collections Manager component. In this tutorial, we show how your accounting department can use the AR Collections Manager to proactively shorten your AR time and have more cash available for your business.

Payroll Tax Table Update

Reminder: Canada Revenue Agency issued new tax tables which are to be implemented for payrolls processed after April 1, 2009. The tax table update for Sage Accpac is available for download from the Sage Client Support Center at http://www.sageaccpac.com/myaccount.

Save Your Money: Notice Regarding Sage Software ClientCare Renewal

You’ll notice that on the Sage annual software maintenance renewal invoices, Option 1 includes an additional fee for a Sage support plan. Most of you already have a Balgord Support Plan which provides software technical support, free training, and other benefits. You probably don’t need to add the Sage support plan. Most companies should choose the lower priced Option 2 which is for the software maintenance component only.

The renewal invoices are sometimes difficult to understand, so please give us a call and we’ll answer any questions you may have.

• A support case is automatically logged in our SageCRM system and assigned to the proper person who can help you as quickly as possible.


• Adding screen shots that describe the problem you are having, or an error message, is always helpful for diagnosing the issue.
