Who's who at Balgord Software Solutions
Annette Balgord, Principal An early adapter of micro computer technology, Annette’s first project was the development of an inventory control and sales order system for an industrial distribution company. Subsequently, she held operations management and controller positions in Canada and the U.S. introducing each company to its first computerized accounting and operations management system.
On her return to Canada in 1993, she formed Balgord Software Solutions. Under Annette’s leadership, the firm has attained Sage Software President’s Circle status three times and was Accpac’s Canadian Business Partner of the Year in 2002. The firm was named an Accounting Technology Pacesetter in 2006 and 2007.
Annette received her CGA (Certified General Accountant) designation in 1997. She is on a member of the Information Technology Alliance, Project Management Institute, Association of Fundraising Professionals, and the Sage Leadership Academy Alumni Association.
Annette enjoys hiking and yoga and is an active ringer in a handbell choir. She is an avid reader and is passionate about helping people use technology to enrich their personal and professional lives. |
